It all started in 1995 on Sipadan Island, located on the northeast coast of Borneo, where I worked as a dive instructor and guide. It was here that Jacques Cousteau uncovered an deep ocean entrance to a turtle cave, filled with the remnants of turtle skeletons. Inspired by his groundbreaking explorations, I felt a strong drive to live a life akin to his, and I began filming divers as they ventured into these haunting turtle tombs.

Twenty years later, what began as Scuba Vision Films has evolved into something much broader. Now, under the new name Bonaire Vision Films & Photo International, we embrace both underwater and terrestrial storytelling.

I am proud to announce that I have reached a significant milestone in my career as a PADI dive instructor—30 years of active service! Throughout this journey, I have dedicated myself to sharing my passion for diving and the underwater world with others. As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, I take pride in mentoring and guiding divers of all skill levels, helping them achieve their goals and discover the beauty of the ocean. This accomplishment not only reflects my commitment to the sport but also my deep appreciation for the marine environment and the joy of teaching. I look forward to many more years of exploring, teaching, and inspiring others to dive into adventure!
